Level 4 or Level 6 Skin Needling: Which Fits You?

Both of our needling courses suit practitioners who already work in beauty or aesthetics. The difference is how far along you are and what you want to add to your treatment menu.

Start with what you hold

The Level 6 certificate asks for a recognised Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, or equivalent, that includes anatomy and physiology. A Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies also counts. If you meet that, Level 6 is open to you.

What Level 4 adds

The Level 4 course sits a step earlier. It covers advanced microneedling, chemical peel treatments, skin analysis and treatment planning, and you practise on live models under supervision.

What Level 6 adds

The Level 6 certificate centres on dermatological science, consultation, treatment suitability and advanced skin needling. It is not meant for people completely new to the industry.
